10 Reasons Mo’Nique is Popular on Full Figure Plus

In the three years that I have been writing this there blog one topic that at times overshadows clothing, lingerie, and accessories is any topic dealing with plus size comedienne Mo’Nique. It has puzzled me in more ways than I can think of that emails and comments are posted all the time from plus size modeling hopefuls under the impression that I am Mo’Nique or I have a direct connection to her. Though I would like to be that blogger alas I am not.

These are the reasons that I think that any post on Mo’Nique is popular on my blog:

1. Though brash she is a positive person
2. Not many blogs devote much post time to anything Mo’Nique does.
3. I have aggressively promoted Mo’Nique’s F.A.T. Chance since season one.
4. Phat Girlz was also heavily promoted here.
5. I was the only blogger to answer questions about Mo’Nique’s line of clothes. (So far it only included F.A.T. Chance jeans.)
6. Mo’Nique appeals to lots of ladies especially plus size women.
7. I am the only blogger to have a page, Mo’Nique Watch, devoted to her.
8. I was the only blogger to mention her role in Shadowboxer.
9. Her cookbook Skinny Cooks Can’t Be Trusted was funny as well as full of some good recipes.
10. Full Figure Plus is just a great blog.

Full Figure Plus is far from being a fan blog for Mo’Nique, but I have to admit that blogging about her activities has introduced me to a host of ladies and some men that may not have known some things about Mo’nique and her cause for plus size ladies.
