The debate rages on over what the ideal weight of men and women should be, but in the world that we live in today with wars, economic woes, diseases and more there are more things to think about than the number on the scale. For these and many more reasons below is my list of reasons you SHOULD NOT worry about your size.
- The BMI chart is just wrong. If 400,000 people in the US die every year from being obese then 1 in 3 people you know would be die each year
- The extremes of dieting trains your body to store fat rendering your dieting efforts fruitless
- For women men prefer women with curves
- For men ladies want something to hold on to
- Individuals that are to thin are more likely to contract immune related diseases
- Constant diet disturbs your natural metabolic setpoint, or natural weight for your body
- Stressing over your size will lead to stress related illnesses
- Thinness is more fad related
- After a certain point in dieting your body stops absorbing the nutrients it needs to keep you healthy
- The norm in society is larger curvy individuals
Don’t get me wrong I am not saying go out and eat a truck load of food. I am saying that whatever your size is do the things to be healthy like eating sensible meals, and being active. In doing so your body will settle in to whatever size it is supposed to be. Additionally, think about it like this if you are constantly worrying about the size of your waist what are you neglecting?






















I always tell people that when you spend more time worrying about your body, you’re not focusing on what’s really important important. Just love yourself ad your body will look after itself ;o)
