10 Ways to Jazz up Denim

I know for some plus size ladies denim is their arch enemy. It doesn’t have to be that way, in fact denim can be your friend if you work the right combination. Its all about the jeans and looking good at the same time. Below are ten ways that you can take a pair of jeans from dull to fabulous.

  1. Jewel and metallic shoes - The combination of jewels and a metallic finish will give a fun look with a pair of jeans.
  2. Jeweled clutches - No need to carry a huge bag when a trendy clutch will do.
  3. Fur Lined Cardigan - Every closet needs a cardigan.  Why not add fur to make your denim stand out?
  4. Tuxedo Ruffles - The classic look is just what is needed to spice up any top.
  5. Jewel toned belt - Jewel tones are still in and will make jeans look better.
  6. Rhinestone featured tops - Enhance the cleavage area of a top with rhinestones.
  7. Metallic bags - When its time to carry a purse why not carry a brushed metal look.
  8. Sharkskin - That sleek shiny look to complete your look.
  9. Velvet - Will never go out of style and is just what will jazz up a pair of jeans.
  10. Boots - You can never go wrong with adding a boot to denim.

One thing to note with rhinestones and jewels.  It is possible to overdue it so be careful of how you combine these enhancers.  To many will have you looking as if you stepped off the stage in Vegas.  But then again if that is the look that your going for then its a good thing.

FUR? You can not be serious. Fur is so unnecessary. It’s disgusting to keep animals in cages just for aesthetic reasons. Fake fur is fine, but the real thing is sick. I’m sorry, but I really do mean that.

I’m so dissapointed. I liked this blog. A lot.

    Tykke,

Today it is really easy to make synthetic fur. For most budget shoppers real fur is not affordable anyway. I would hope that one post that includes fur does not stop you from continuing to be a reader.
