2008 Torrid Plus Size Model Search – Press Release

The Torrid 2008 model search is looking for fresh new talent! If you think you’ve got what it takes, here’s the 411. Open to all legal U.S. residents 18 years of age and older. Submit an 8X10 picture (head shot or full body) along with entry form application July 18-31st. Applications will ONLY be accepted in stores July 18, 19, and 20th. All other applications please visit Torrid.com for further directions.
House of Diva, a reality based television show in which a number of women compete for the title of Torrid Diva and a chance to start their career in the modeling industry. House of Diva finalists will be flown into LA and housed in a top secret location for a 3 day span. The entire visit will be filmed.
Finalists will have the opportunity to meet industry celebrity mentors such as:
Nicole Brewer- fashion stylist to the stars
Kaycee Stroh- dancer/actress
Nikki Blonsky- actress/vocalist
Mia Tyler- fashion model/mentor
Sharon Gault- celebrity makeup artist
Perez Hilton- celebrity blogger/online personality
- One Grand Prize Winner will receive a $500 Torrid gift card and the possibility of being featured on the Torrid web site.
- Six Finalists will each receive a 3-day/2-night trip to Los Angeles, CA.
- Bring entry form and 8X10 photo of yourself to enter contest!
- Shop Sunday, July 20th from 11a.m.-3p.m. at your Orland Park Torrid and receive $25 off any $100 purchase!

You can google that topic and come out with several resourceful outlets. I from experience highly recommend http://www.venusdivas.com. That is how I got started they provide so much information as well as jobs for plus size models, also http://www.plusmodelmagazine.com as well. I wish you all the best and let us know how that goes.

Thank you for suppling the information on how to get started with becoming a plus sized model!!! I’m a saucey, fluffy, beautiful ,full-figured woman that would love to get into this field. I would suggest that you contact Torrid to find out when they are having another audition and stay tuned to this blog to find out about other model searches.

i tryed out in december 13 and havent got any feed back what can i do to find out if i made it or somthing??
