5 Fashion tips for plus sizes
One of the things that I hear all the time from both plus size men and women is that they have a difficult time finding clothing in there size. I have written about this in many different forms but since it still seems to be a problem I have another outlook on an age old problem when it comes to plus size fashion.
- Buy clothes that fit - The number thats on the tag is not as important as it fitting you when you put it one. Ladies only: Men have been having clothing tailored for hundreds of years, so can you.
- Find your style - Just because its popular doesn’t mean you have to wear it or add it to your wardrobe. Finding your individual style is very difficult for plus sizes but not impossible and with the rise in stores dedicated to plus size fashion it’s getting easier.
- You get what you pay for - Cheap clothing at times will look good only for a few washings. Spend a little more so that your clothes will look good longer.
- Think classic - There are certain pieces of your wardrobe that you should have all the time no matter the trends. Not only is it expensive but can be a headache to try and redo your entire wardrobe every season.
- Clothes for your figure - Find out which body type you are and buy clothing that flatters your type of body. If your not sure of your body type check out MyShape for helpful tips.
Remember at the end of the day being yourself is the most important part of the puzzle. Buying clothing for you or others should be about who and what you are and not what others think. As long as you approach shopping like this then when you look into your closet it won’t be an unpleasant experience.
