Recently Full Figure Plus held a drawing for an outfit courtesy of JMS. Three lucky readers sent in their tips for looking your best during the holiday season. There where so many great tips that I decided it would be great to share the top 5 tips with you guys. Below are the top tips for the holidays. If you ask me they can be applied to any occasion not just the holidays!
- I don’t celebrate the holidays but for dressy occasions I like to add a tiny bit of bling somewhere, whether it be a glitzy eyeshadow or a big, blingy ring – Nannie, Philadelphia
- Wear what you love! Some years that’s a red satin ball gown, some years it’s jeans and a blouse. Choose clothes that make you happy, and that happiness will shine through. After all, this is the season of joy and love, why be miserable in clothes you don’t feel comfortable in?! –Maria, Malden
- As a single parent on a limited budget, my best holiday tip is to use a basic solid color such as a black dress, neutral colored top and bottom (same color) and pair with accessories with bright bold colors. All accessories do not have to be the same color. Example: A black dress with a royal blue transparent iridescent scarf with other bold accessories such as sequined shoes. – Tracey, Conway
- For the holidays I like to add a little sparkle to my attire. I pair a cardigan with sparkly buttons or a nice scarf with silver or gold with a nice pair of pants. I add sparkly hair accessories (combs, clips, or headbands). And I love to wear black patent leather pumps or red ones. –Tameka, N. Little Rock
- When going out, add a little glitter. Whether it is lip gloss, eye shadow, a silvery shoe, belt or purse, the glittery effect can make any outfit festive! – Robin, Little Rock
