It’s not hard to believe that there are tons of independent entrepreneurs/small business in the plus-size industry who are trying to make things happen, but  no one knows about them. We can’t depend on the media to tell the world who we are and what we do for our community. If we are going to be at the forefront of our clients mind especially when the economy picks up, then now is the perfect time to allow yourself to shine in the plus-size industry. Whether you’re just starting out or have been in business for many years, we need plus entrepreneurs to step up to the plate and let the world know they are ready to do business.

Have you ever found a necklace to die for but it would not fit? What I like about this concept is the concept of taking care of the whole woman. If you missed it last night I had the pleasure and privilege of being involved in the 1st ever Plus Size Business Tele-Summit. The goal of the telesummit is to give those looking to start a business in the plus size industry some insight into what it takes to transform a full time hobby into a serious business.

My part in the series that will spread out over the next month was to explain some of the ins and outs of being a full-time or professional blogger.  Topics included the look and feel of a blog, free versus paid web hosting, overall commitment to your blog, traffic, and voice.
