Having gone through a divorce myself years ago this is not happy news for Star Jones but one that I as a former fan wondered how long the union would last before it ended. It may not be the best way to think of her and her marriage but I thought all the fanfare in the beginning was her more convincing others than believing it herself.

When I read press releases like this I am reminded of how far the plus size community has come since I started blogging years ago. Congratulations Chenese I know you will do a fantastic job of representing the company and plus size women everywhere!

Mo’Nique To Host Radio Show
I could be wrong but if Mo’Nique is going to be hosting a radio show starting in July I think that means that we will NOT be seeing another cycle of Mo’Nique’s F.A.T. Chance.
Syndication One has added comedian and actress Mo’Nique to its roster of radio personalities, which already includes Rickey Smiley, Yolanda Adams, Bishop TD Jakes, Donnie McClurkin and CoCo Brother.

A few weeks ago I first wrote about Mo’Nique and the rumor of her having weight loss surgery. Seeing these pictures of Mo’Nique taken at the launch of the Healing Starts With Us party a week ago makes me think that no only does she have on an ugly outfit but she is smaller. What do you think? Additionally, do you think that she had surgery or she just lost weight naturally and if she underwent WLS do you think that it affects her position on size acceptance that she built a career around?
