Plus Size Fashion Shopping Tips

Special occasion dressing can prove to be a nightmare for some plus size men and women. With the holidays approaching, parties at the office and with friends and family doesn’t mean that you have to be stuck at the house.  Just because you have hips and curves doesn’t mean you can’t look your best while you’re out at a party.  Inspired by Isabella at Deluxe Grrl I have come up with a few tips of my own for dressing to impress during the holiday season.

Every year my wife and I take our son to Boo At the Zoo and have a hard time finding costumes for the two of us. That hunt is now over. While doing research yesterday I received an email that lead me to Buycostumes.com. When I first went to the site I really wasn’t that impressed. Too me it was just another costume mega site, nothing really caught my eye until I saw that there was a plus size Costumes section.

I have been thinking for days how to end this series and decided since it is late on Christmas Eve I will keep it simple.

I hope that you have enjoyed this series as much as I have. I hope that you were able to get some good holiday ideas as well as some ideas for everyday items. Tomorrow is Christmas day so however you celebrate the holiday season I hope that it is prosperous and a fitting end to 2005 for you and your family.

Today begins with a retraction. Yesterday I blogged about new shoes from Payless shoes. Turns out the landing page for that has been taken down. So while those shoes are not available there are many other styles available from this merchant.

I hope that you have finished all your holiday shopping and are ready for the online sales that will start this weekend. So as I sit here and thing about what to blog about today and the only thing that comes to mind is where I have come over the last year and how the plus size community has grown as well.
