Plus Size Fashion Shopping Tips

All of my life one of the things that I never had to worry about was finding a pair of jeans.  As men we would go into the store with our waist and inseam in our mind grab a pile of jeans pay for them then go home.  I went to JC Penny this weekend with the same mentality only to be slapped in the face with the reality of men’s blue jeans shopping has caught up with women’s in its level of difficulty.

I have written a lot about about finding the right fitting jeans on Full Figure Plus. Over the years there have been several attempts by many companies to offer jeans to plus size women and big and tall men. The problem was always price. Because finding the right size jeans for most, including myself, is a difficult task people are willing to pay top dollar for something that average size people pay considerably less for. When I read the press release for Make Your Own Jeans I was encouraged that there is now a real alternative when it comes to jeans for everyone regardless of size.

I have blogged before about SVOBODA getting into the plus size jeans world late last year. Last week they revealed there new Summer line of denim and knit for plus sizes. Like I wrote about before there products are on the pricey side with some pairs of jeans being over one hundred dollars in price, but when you really think of it its no different than the s7even jeans from Lane Bryant.
