The Plus Size-Big & Tall List
There are certain things that I feel that every large person should have regardless. Inspired by the movie The Bucket List I have come up with a list of things that plus size women and big and tall men need for day to day activity.
- 2 or more belts. More for ladies in the case that the belt is more fashionable than suporrtive.
- A tailor or seamstress to educate you on the proper fit of clothes for YOUR body type.
- Hangers that can support larger sized clothing.
- Proper sized robes, towels and slippers.
How Wearing A Bra That Fits Can Improve Your Social Life
Most adults at one time or another have been subjected to a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. A recent adventure at the house of cheese inspired me to write about some of the many full figured women that are wearing summer inspired clothing with a bra that doesn’t fit. Not only is it annoying to the woman being tortured by an improperly fitted garment it is not high on the list of things to strike up a conversation with others that are not interested in the Chuck E. Cheese band.
Who Wants a $100 Gift Card From Lands’ End?
A few weeks ago I ran a little contest for a $100 gift card from Lands’ End. After the contest ended I chose the winner and contacted her by email. Well its been almost a week and no response so I am asking again if there is anyone that wants to receive a gift card to help jump start your Spring or Summer wardrobe.
To refresh regular readers memory and to give new readers a chance, do you think that $100 would help you jump start your Spring Wardrobe? If the answer is yes then leave a comment telling me why. I will chose a winner on May 2, 2008 who will receive a $100 gift card courtesy of Lands’ End.

As you gain weight you lose intelligence?
Reading this article I almost laughed. A five year study was conducted in Great Britain that links a possibility of a person with a higher BMI with lower intelligence and cognitive skills. Also sighted was what we in America call the “Homer Simpson Effect”, which I associate more with being a person that drinks to much than one that is killing brain cells from there eating habits.Since the study was based on a persons BMI score, with those with a score of 30 or above doing worse on cognitive tests, I can somewhat agree with physical fitness and mental fitness being related. I could never go so far as to say that becasue a person is fat they are less smart. In my opinion that’s just another way to say, “You’re fat so you really don’t matter much”
