Customer testimony of Apple Bottoms jeans.

One of the things that I always like to do is hear from readers about there experience with finding clothes. Being plus size is hard enough without having the pressure of thinking that you have found the right fit only to be disappointed once you try them on.

plus size men don’t have this issue as much as the women do but it still happens. Below you can read one persons tale of how she is now a convert to the plus size line of jeans from Apple bottoms written in her own words. Thanks Karen for letting me blog about your experience!!!

I Looooooooove them!

Say what you want to…about them being a fad…about them being too expensive…about Nelly being a Hip-Hop pimp or something. But them dag gum jeans fit better than any jeans I have worn since I been full figured.

And that is almost all my teenage and adult life. And not only do they fit, they fit RIGHT. No gaps. No hanging too loose one place too tight in another. No cant button up over the gut…No, in the water floodin’…No cuttin cheese…No nuthin’ uncomfortable…. just a slammin’ fit.

You can even bend and squat in these dag gum jeans!

I mean, when they say they are made for women with curves…they weren’t lying. Full figured women between sizes 16-24…get you some & even if you wear a 26, I think you can still fit the size 24 cuz…the 4% spandex and the extra wide tummy, hips and rump space will almost guarantee their fit.

How I got hooked…. they made the mistake and gave me a Macy’s card y’all. And since my recent weight gain due to binge eating…I was unable to fit most of my old clothes. I had heard so much about them from the young folks…and knew they were all the rage and being the diva I am, I tried on a pair.

I honestly didn’t hold any hopes that they would fit. I have never been able to fit regular or the hip-hop designer stuff too well. Cuz most that stuff is cut narrower than average clothing. Even before my weight gain, it was a rare item I could wear from Baby Phat or Fubu.

But I can wear these jeans very well…and I love how they look on me. I know right off the rack, they are expensive… but you can always catch a sale at Macys… and guess where else I found them….at Marshall’s for 3/4ths less the price you pay anywhere else. Honestly, I think they are worth the price considering the excellent fit for women of ample proportions.

Yes, I know other full figured brands are a lot cheaper…and yes, Apple Bottoms are a sort of vanity purchase. But, I will be honest…. in all my days as a plus sized person, I have not found a better quality jean…of fashionable design… and perfect fit… No, not even in Lane Bryant or the Avenue… (who by the way their jeans off the rack are maybe only 10 or 20 dollars less in price than a pair of off the rack/not on sale Apple Bottoms.)

If you haven’t already…try ‘me and see if I’m not telling the truth. Don’t be turned off by the faddishness of them…they are a really good quality garment…and they FIT miraculously well!
