Diary of a plus size blogger

The past week or so I have been in reflection mode trying to figure out what new things are on the horizon for me as far as my blogging activity is concerned. One of the things that I have decided to do is do a few interviews with plus size men and women and post them others I am not sure about at this point.

There are lots of things to write about when it comes to the plus size community and I really don’t want to see either one of my blogs only writing about one thing and one thing only so I will be trying a few experiments over the upcoming weeks and months to make sure that the subjects that I do cover are the things that the readers of this blog want to read.

One thing for sure is that I will be doing more blogging about plus size men. You would think with me being a plus size man that I would blog more about men issues. I have never seen issues that effect men in the plus size community as being as difficult as those of the ladies. We as men don’t have to deal with problems with jeans, bras, underwear in general as well as discrimination and healthy concerns all at the same time so I feel that its best to talk about issues affecting the ladies a little more. Lets face it when most people including myself think of plus size women come to mind more than men.

The plus size Blogger series is becoming something that is for sure growing on me because its a way that I can’t talk a little bit about everything without targeting a specific subject. It’s become a way that I can start my week off on a clean slate and work on writing skills at the same time. Blogging is something that I enjoy and will for sure be doing for a long time to come.

New for the upcoming months of course is the news that Lane Bryant will be opening up there Cacique stores and that Wal-mart is getting into the plus size fashion world with there Metro7 collection. Things are for sure looking up and I hope to see more in the next few months.
