Diary of a plus size blogger

Though things are getting better for plus size individuals to find trendy fashionable clothing it still presents a challenge. Reading about stores discontinuing or drastically reducing there petite line of clothing and in some cases expanding there plus sizes is kind of a bittersweet pill to swallow. But at the same time for the first time smaller people are getting a taste of what plus size people go through daily.

Spring and summer sales are in full swing with great sales coming from Just my Size, Draper’s and Damon’s, Bealls and more. A listing of the stores can be found on the plus size Shopping Links page. Get your spring and summer wardrobe fully stocked before the end of July when the Fall preview merchandise comes out.

While I took my break last week I reflected on the direction of my blogs and I came to the conclusion that there are some changes that have to be made in my daily routine in order to take this blog to the next level. One thing that I will be doing for certain is making sure that I have my first entry for the day at the same time each day. Since I have decided to focus more on writing about plus size and plus size related thing instead of solely posting links to help people find deals that my writing has flowed more and that is something that not only helps me but gives you the reader valuable information to go along with the different shopping choices on the links page.

Research has shown me that though plus size fashion is a booming industry, it’s not the hottest item on the internet. So I plan to work hard each day to bring more light into the area that is plus size. For years I have read that the average size of a lady in the US was 14, but just last week from a top designer he stated that in his opinion its closer to a size 16. If this is the case then mainstream fashion will have no choice but to offer clothing to fit there growing customer base. As it happens I will for sure be here to blog about it.
