On Wednesday Full Figure Plus will mark three years of blogging about all things related to plus size women and big and tall men. Some of the things I have blogged about have been good others not so good, but overall I would not change a thing.
This weeks entry for Dress for Success is Monif C. plus sizes. Every since I found her Ebay store to featuring her website and showcasing her activities on B.E.T.’s Rip the Runway Monif C. has been the epitome of what a up and coming plus size merchant is all about. In 2006 I listed her as one of the 10 plus size merchants to watch and for 2007 she has shined with original fashions as well as opening up a boutique in Manhattan.
Though for some comments have been made that the designs of Monif C are to expensive she is offering quality clothing to plus size women. As an independent merchant she is also serving a niche that has been largely ignored by mainstream stores. Though it is changing thanks to ladies like Monif C. that are not afraid to be different.
On November 15th from 6-10pm come out to celebrate A Fabulous Night with Monif C. There will be food cocktails, shopping, and more. Holiday dresses will be available at 25-75% off. RSVP at info@monifc.com. For those in the area and want directions they are listed below.
