Fat and Fabulous Show Wrapup

I had a great time talking with Jami Templeton and the listeners to her blogtalkradio show FatandFabulous. If you go to the link for the show you can listen to the show. We talked about the inspiration behind Full Figure Plus as well as a few other things that are important to plus size people everywhere.

For those that have technical difficulties I of course have the questions that I answered on the show as well as a few questions that we didn’t have time to go over but I don’t mind sharing with the readers of Full Figure Plus. 1. What inspired you to start fullfigureplus.com? - My wife had a problem finding a matching bra and panty set. I started collecting links and decided to start blogging after reading an article in a magazine about blogging.
2. How long have you been married? - 8 years to my wife and number one plus size diva TJ or as I call her momma.
3. Have you always had a preference for curvy women? - Yes indeedy. In my opinion the perfect size for a woman is a size 18/20.
4. What makes a woman beautiful? - Good conversation, a sense of humor, hips and curves.
5. You also provide helpful hints for big and tall men. What are the obstacles that men face when shopping in the larger sizes? -The biggest obstacle is that there not much of an in between area in clothing either its sweats and tennis shoes or suits.
6. Who are your biggest advertisers? - FindingFlabuless.com - New Zeland, berryfine.com - ebay -rosaleewomensizeappareal.com - independent plus size merchant
7. Why do you think they seek out your blog? - because they are looking for relevant information and a way to expand their individual brands.
8. You have children… What advice would you give your daughter if she were a curvy girl? How would you advise her to handle bullying at school if she ever ran into that problem? - Beauty starts within and radiates out. Never let anyone have enough power over you to steal your happiness. Size does not make you a good or bad person it just makes you the person that you are.
9. How would you like to change the world through your blog? - I would like to eventually see a change to the point that the phrase “plus size” is no longer needed be it in clothing stores, modeling, internet searches you name it.
10. Do you have a favorite actress that you think epitomizes curvy beauty? - Before she had the surgery my hands down answer would be Star Jones. I think my new choice would have to be Jill Scott.
