I saw the Monique’s Fat Chance-Paris Show on yesterday 7/28 and I knew it would come on again. I’ve just watched it again because I needed a second take. I am in Seagoville, Texas about 25 miles or so east of Dallas. Believe me I will be trying my best to get in touch with the young lady who won from Texas. I work for an all girl organization and many of the teens that attend are full figured and some have some serious self esteem issues. Monique, I’m speechless. The things you come up with to make women feel so inspired, sexy and daring all at the same time. The body paint scenes were breath taking. I was shaking for the ladies becuase I just knew that someone wasn’t going to go through with it the first time I saw the show. I know it is hard to choose a winner because no one leaves without being transformed. It seems all doubts become doubtless. I used to be a size 0 in high school and I must admit I was very depressed. Now I am a size 16/18 and I’m okay with that. My husband loves it! I hope that your show continues for ages because we have teens who struggle with being full figured and society treats them differently. That’s alright because you are changing that right now!

I am always a sucker for give aways…the last giveaway I got was a few years ago when Maid in Manhatten was first released…as a mothers day giveaway we got some of jlo’s perfume, and a size 0 jlo nighty….I mean what am I going to do with a size 0 nighty….grrr its like she thinks everyone is going to be anorexic like her…hehe…So its nice to see a big ‘FAT’ giveaway. for us Normal people. Besides, I am a fan of monique…although we don’t have Big Fat Chance here…Boohoo New Zealand is too far away…perhaps I should try downloading episodes from the internet. or wait and see if I win the dvd! hehe! You are my favorite ‘chubby lover’ in the whole wide world…don’t ever stop writing it is so liberating to meet a good man like you that appreciate ‘Curvy’.

I watched the show and I was Motivated and moved!!
I realized that I can finally be proud of who I am and what I am. A big beautiful ,proud ,fantastic woman. That despite what anyone else might say I am special no matter how big I am and somebody out there knows that feeling too and they know exactly what I have been going through my whole life….
    Thanks Mo’Nique.. God bless you!!!!!!

Mo’Nique has opened up people’s eyes to viewing voluptuous women as sexy, real human beings. She has such a great work ahead of her. I know as a plus sized woman, we haven’t been seen in vogue but I believe with shows like F.A.T. Chance, there are going to be so many more opportunities to be seen.

Seeing the women on the runway encouraged me to countine down the road of self-love and acceptance and to view myself as a beautiful walking piece of artwork that cannot be reproduce.

My husband loves me and tells me I am beautiful all the time, now its time I see myself the same way

I was amazed at how beautiful plus size girls looked painted. It made me feel great. The hardest thing for me being a plus size girl is finding things that look great on me and figuring out how to wear them.

I loved Mo’niques f.a.t. chance premeire as well as her other specials on oxygen network. I hope to audition for the next season in hopes of being miss f.a.t. Mo’nique’s fabulous show was a great birthday (July 31) and wedding present (August 11) for my self esteem! With so many great things happening in my life this summer, I found time to reflect on my self esteem thanks to F.A.T. chance and every one in support of her show. Much love! PLUS DIVA!!!

I know what it feels like being a plus size person!!! I’ve been one all my life. It feels horrible trying to make myself look nice and feel nice. Especially since the plant where I worked closed down and I am soo depressed because I can’t find another job. Yeah I know what you all are thinking, same thing I think about myself just go out and find a job, it’s hard right now in this avg size town trying to find a good job along with the 500 or more people who lost their jobs same time as I did. Well Hooray for you MONIQUE trying to make us BIG Women Beautiful…I applaud you.
