Full Figure Plus Turns 4!

Today four years ago Full Figure Plus was started with the hope and dream of providing a information source for plus size women to find shopping alternatives on the Internet and to allow me to run a business from my home.

Four years later I find that not only am I still in the blog game but the evolution of Full Figure Plus has even suprised me!  For those that are new to FFP the timeline below will give you a snapshot of the progression of this blog.

  1. November 14, 2004 – Full Figure Plus debuted on Blogger along with sister blog Curvy Silhouettes.
  2. February 1, 2005 – http://www.fullfigureplus.com as a stand alone domain goes live.
  3. January 24, 2006 – The first time marketing efforts pay for monthly hosting costs.
  4. January 2007 – Monthly traffic hits 10,000 for the first time.
  5. May 2007 – Advertising space sold for the first time.
  6. November 2007 – Monthly traffic hits 20,000.
  7. December 2007 – Blog posts hit 1000 mark.
  8. February 2008 – FFP gets new look.
  9. May 2008 – Blog income surpasses that of my last traditional job.
  10. June 2008 – Traffic for the month surpasses 50,000 hits.
  11. September 2008 – FFP adds a spokesmodel to its ranks
  12. November 14, 2008 – Full Figure Plus turns four years old.

There are more milestones that I could focus on but I am trying not to play up the narcassistic part of what being a blogger is about to much.  The one thing that I will say is thank you to all of those that have left comments, advertised, sent emails, linked to this blog.  Without plus size women and big and tall men visiting this blog there would be no blog.

2009 is going to be a big year for this blog.  I want to take Full Figure Plus to new heights to show that the plus size community can not be taken for granted and that our combined shopping dollars make us a powerful force for fashion, size acceptance, modeling and more!
