Gastric Bypass surgery has its risks

Having gastric bypass surgery is becoming more and more popular these days. There have been a lot of success stories. I personally know four ladies that have had the surgery and all of the reported few complications. Its when I read articles like what happened to a 31-year-old man in Italy that I realize there are still lots of risk factors involved.

My thing is, when you get it, you have to monitor how much you eat, take vitamins,a nd all this other stuff. why not just do that anyway? willpower?
I dunno, I want to lose weight, but I’d rather be overweight than risk some of the things I’ve seen happen to others.

I agree with you Chase especially on the maintenance that seems to be the key.
The risks for sure make it scary
