Not long ago Glamour magazine struck a cord with both men and women when they posted the untouched photo of Lizzie Miller showing off her stomach pooch. Well they are at it again this time using 7 plus models. The models include: Crystal Renn, Amy Lemons, Ashley Graham, Kate Dillon, Anansa Sims and Jennie Runk. BOTTOM Center: Lizzie Miller. What is cool about both of these pictures is the gamble that Glamour is willing to take in order to show real women with real curve au naturale. Though not to be confused with being a champion of the size acceptance movement they are willing to listen to their readers and respond in kind with more of the things that are considered positive.
I have spoke a few times since earlier this Summer about letting your voice be heard. My voice rings out through my blog. Your voice comes through comments. Please go get the November issue of Glamour magazine! There is a beautiful picture of 7 plus size models nude. Legendary super model Beverly Johnson’s daughter Anansa Sims is featured in the picture. She is a size 12-14 and gorgeous! Her mother blazed trails in the 70′s as the first African American on the cover of Vogue and now her daughter is blazing a new trail representing normal size women! Bravo!!
