Hang out with like minded bloggers

It’s getting warmer outside, school is almost out and I don’t feel like writing a thing. This is one of the pitfalls of being a full-time blogger. There are some days that the inspiration is just not there to write that ground breaking piece on the activity in the plus size fashion community.

Today I’m going to talk about some of the blogs and communities that I belong to and some that I think you should check out as well.

MyblogLog – This is a very interesting community where like minded bloggers gather. Areas of interest range from blogging to technology to fashion and more. If your not sure what your area of interest is and are intimidated by Technorati this is a place for you.

StumbleUpon – I have actually been a member of this site for quite sometime now. Basically you install there toolbar and click “Stumble”. Either totally random sites will come up or those that can be specified by using keywords of your choice. This is a cool way to let others know about your blog and some of the things that you like.

KGK Travel – This has nothing to do with blogging but is the result of my blog activity. The success of this blog allowed me to expand my business into the travel arena. As it gets warmer I expect to be spending more time with my travel agents hat on.

Just about all of my activity online centers around my Google account. From Gmail to the Google Toolbar these tools are the center of my blogging activity.

What are tools without seeing some of the blogs that I use these tools to get to each day.

Problogger – I have been reading Darren’s blog since day one of my time online. I have gained a lot of knowledge about what it takes to monetize your blog. Common sense tips on all phases of blog activity can be found on this blog.

Copyblogger – I have felt that my blogging style is getting stale so I have been looking for ways to make changes in how I write. Brian has been helping blogger fine tune there writing skills to fit there particular audience. This is a great blog.

Deluxe Grrl – The reason that I got into Blog Carnivals was from reading this blog. Isabella shoots straight from the hip when talking about plus size fashion as well as marketing to plus size individuals.

Fat Chic – An in your face look at the world of plus size clothing. I am a new subscriber to this blog and love the way Diana is not afraid to say exactly whats on her mind about the powers that be in plus size fashion.

There are more blogs that I read on a daily basis but these are the ones that I peak in on more often than others. Looks as if I had more to write about than I thought. I hope this peak into my world gives you something that is new and helpful or at least give you a different perspective on something you already know about.

Time to hit the news reader to see what is going on in the blog world. Hopefully I can find some juicy tidbits to bring back and write about.
