How to Search for Plus Size Products and Services Online

Yesterday I talked about non-clothing items and what I had to do through in order to find the items that I used. Though searching for plus size friendly products are better than it used to be its still hard because there is no universal search term being used in relation to products and services for larger individuals. I’m going to list some of the tips that I use to find items everyday. My Search engine of choice for the past three years has been Google. If I can do it then anyone can.

1. Use the acronyms BBW, SSBBW, and BHM only in relation to finding dating sites. It is too closely linked to pornography to be of any use to find everyday items.

2. For women place “plus size” in front of what your looking for, i.e. plus size clothing, plus size lingerie, plus size swimwear, etc. Though big and tall works for men its actually easier to find items for larger men through normal search terms.

3. Email addresses are another link to find plus size stuff. Look through your inbox for emails that have any terms that are related to plus size in the email address of the sender. This is a tedious method and should only be used if your very bored and frustrated.

4. Google Blog Search. Though the majority of the blogs that this search point to are on Blogger I have found lots of relevant blogs this way.

5. Google News. I have been using this method for years. Just like with a normal search engine search set up the news page to find relevant news items on the keywords you specify.

These are the main tricks that I use to find 90% of the content that I write about on a daily basis. Of course subscribing to the Full Figure Plus feed is the best way to find out about anything that you want to know about plus size fashion and more.
