I Blog About Plus Size Fashion And Love Those I Serve

When I think about this blog and what it means to me I really never think about me personally, because lets face it I am not woman nor do I play one on the Internet, but I wanted to help out my plus size bride and at the same time help others.  Even if this had not turned into a way to support my family I would still write about things plus size.

As a result of the activities of this blog I have had the chance to meet several great ladies and a few gentlemen that have impacted my life in ways that are still being revealed to me.  As a writer I have grown as a business owner I have grown and I feel as a servant to the plus size community I have grown.  That growth has mainly come from realizing as much as I work at making Full Figure Plus a success it is not about me.  The success of this blog is about you the readers and those that support blogs like this all over the Internet.

I never have been one who liked the spotlight much, though I like anyone else still crave the adoration that comes from being showered with attention.  Because I do not seek the center stage when people speak my name in the same sentence with things positive I am taken aback.

With that being said recently a young lady who I have been following since I first saw her on YouTube years ago Vanessa Reece honored me by giving me the ‘Cherry on Top Award.’ I was stunned when I read “For honouring the plus size world like a gentleman.” Is this award For glitz and glam?  No it is not.  It just goes to show you never know who you have and affect on.

What I view this award as is recognition for doing what I love to do which is serve you guys everyday to the best of my abilities.  Honestly, I normally avoid these types of things but I feel this one is important enough to graciously accept on behalf of the blogsphere and to present the award to others I feel are deserving of praise.
