Though not known for plus size clothing Liz Claiborne is an icon in the world of fashion.  I can remember my mother talking about Liz Claiborne and quality in the same sentence. The clothing industry has lost one of its biggest and brightest stars.

When I think about her and her clothing I always thought of sophistication and elegance.  Any woman that I saw wearing signature pieces from this clothing line was a woman to be admired.
