Is Your Bra Killing You?

A recent news story about Victoria Secret bras containing formeldahyde has many women concerned.  The first question is how did the chemical get into the bra and why would a toxic agent like this be used as part of the manufacturing process.

We all know that formaldehyde can kill humans taken in high doses, yet it is still being used recreational by the drug community and in the industrial sector outside of the mortuary business.

Most people that know me know that I am one to think the worst of even the best situation so my thoughts on Vicky Secret burning boobies is that in reasearch and development there was no slip but in manufacturing the in this bad economy that we are in using this chemical in the cleaning or moulding process is how it was introduced into the bras.

Don’t get me wrong I have not a shread of proof to the above scenario happening but there has to be something bad going on if women are complaining about redness, swelling, rashes, not to mention paying for an item that is not safe then there is something fishy going on.

Now that I am done being a conspiracy theorists what are you supposed to do if you suspect that the bra you just purchased has formeldahyde in it?  See your doctor to get a professional diagnosis of the problem, then take the bra back to the store that you purchased it.  I could not find a press release from Victoria Secret regarding their return policy, but I am sure with the pending class action lawsuit they will address the situation in a responsible manner.
