Monif C. Plus Sizes will be featured on BET’s Rip the Runway

Last year on the strength of the Anthony Hamilton song “Sista Big Bones” it was a great night for plus size fashion. This year the trend continues.

Update: The show was fast paced and gave a feel of being behind stage. I liked the clothing that Monif’s models presented. The convertible dress was the hit of the collection, though there where other styles that I know will sell well.

I didn’t like the fact that she had to share the stage with Steve Harvey and LRG. I understand that they wanted to represent for the big men as well, but they should have showcased them separate to give each designer a chance to shine.

Former America’s Next Top Model contestant Toccra Jones made a runway appearance for Monif C as well. Overall the show was great. Check out Monifc.com for everything that was seen on the runway tonight.
