Monif C Set To Rip The Runway Again

When BET first aired Rip the Runway a few years ago it was groundbreaking that plus size designers like Monif C would be included in the mix. Today as evidence by the photos Monif C is a signature part of the even along with other names like Korto the Project Runway runner up and native to my home town of Little Rock.
The show which is set to air March 2 at 9 pm is already generating buzz in part becasue of this year on the runway the plus size divas will be wearing swimsuits. When I saw the pictures I was not only impressed but happy to see a showcase of swimsuits for bigger women that did not look like circus tents.
Sure there were other designers and other styles of clothing that was on display at the taping last week but for us that are not on the inside when it airs on March 2 we will be looking out for the big girls in the swimsuits. Personally I will be cheering for the big bad bald girl aka Jeannie Ferguson, she is uber sexy to me.
Another plus beauty that hit the runway was Toccara Jones. Though not wearing Monif C she still looks amazing.
