National Denim Day Helps in Fight Against Breast Cancer

I have lost a loved one and known several ladies that have had to deal with breast cancer. One of the reasons that I blog is to educate both men and women on different issues. Breast cancer claims thousands of lives yearly. Lee Jean’s is sponsoring Lee National Denim Day for the 12th year to help raise awareness and money to fight this disease.
On October 5th “Lee Jeans encourages millions of people nationwide to slip into their favorite jeans and make a $5 donation to support the fight against breast cancer.”
In addition to the fundraising efforts for those that want to keep up with all the Denim Day activities you can find more information by visiting there pages across the net by joining in on MySpace, Friendster, YouTube, or by joining their Facebook group.See if your company is participating in this program if not ask what can be done to get them on board.

Early detection of breast cancer saves lives, or as I often say, “Early detection-early survival.”
