Congrats on another good blog Glenn! I only buy from designers who can fulfill all of my needs (clothing, shoes, and accessories). As for the magazines, Marie Claire and Glamour, they have missed the boat on plus size woman. They are only doing it to get more readers and money! There are only two magazines that I can think of that have always celebrated the plus size woman over the years BBW (no longer in publication) and Essence! I commented about this subject on another one of your blogs and I will stand my ground on this, "Our money is just as good and sometimes better. We are all woman, and all woman enjoy and want to look fabulous no matter what size, shape or color. Keep up the good work Glenn, love your website.

I'm with you. I'm tired of "board room members" taking credit for doing something extraordinary. While I applaud Glamour, Marie Claire and others for taking such a stand, I do think that they are doing it because it's what's hot right now. If they and others were so sincere in their efforts they would've been ahead of the curve instead of behind it. It's not fair that major publications add a spread or column and then all of a sudden people praise them. Give me a break! I went into detail regarding this topic in a previous post on Daily Venus Diva. Check it out. http://dailyvenusdiva.com/2009/10/what-are-glamours-brigittes-real-intentions/
