Some time ago several posts wer devoted to the virtues of the shelf bra. For those that are not familiar with this piece of lingerie, just like the name indicates it literally creates a shelf for breasts to sit on.
The problem with the shelf bra is that it is not very practical and has a consensus of being a bra only worn in intimate moments or at bedtime. A more practical approach comes from the open tip bra. In lay terms think of just cutting out a hole near the nipple of your favorite bra.
Instead of mutilating your bra collection, there is a solution that will allow the braless look under clothing along with the support that ladies with larger breasts need. As you can see from the photo below the open tip bra covers more of the breast while leaving just the tip exposed.
A good shelf bra supports the whole breast and leaves the top and nipple area uncovered. They are very comfortable and not just for the bedroom.
