The PSBOTW continues this week with a new beauty Tara Seals. As the segment continues it has been my pleasure to see ladies of various sizes, ethnicities, as well as tastes in clothing. In a conversation with a friend over the weekend I expressed my excitement and gratitude to all of the ladies who have made the choice to submit their photos for a chance for their time in the spotlight!
Remember ladies being featured as the beauty of the week has a bonus to it. In a week one lucky lady to be voted on by Full Figure Plus Readers will have the chance to win a dress from IGIGI.com while the three runners up will receive 25% of their next IGIGI purchase. Thank you to Tara and all of the ladies who have submitted photos and remember you DO NOT have to be a professional model to enter.
Update: Tara is an RN at Children’s Mercy Hospital, works in the community through Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and through her church Concord Fortress of Hope. Additionally, she was the 2nd African American to win homecoming queen at William Jewell College in 2006.
In her opinion being “plus size” is simply an outside description that society has placed on thicker people. It doesn’t define the things that you do or how you perceive the world and beauty is found in ones character and spirit in other words beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Being true to yourself, taking care of yourself and loving yourself makes you beautiful! Set no limits on your life! God Bless!
