Plus size Halloween costumes

Every year my wife and I take our son to Boo At the Zoo and have a hard time finding costumes for the two of us. That hunt is now over. While doing research yesterday I received an email that lead me to Buycostumes.com. When I first went to the site I really wasn’t that impressed. Too me it was just another costume mega site, nothing really caught my eye until I saw that there was a plus size Costumes section.

In the life of this blog I have come across several sites that claim to carry costumes for plus sizes. Usually there selection is sparse and the page for plus sizes is buried in the navigation links. Naturally I went into this experience expecting the same. The more I surfed I quickly came to the conclusion that this site was no ordinary website. BuyCostumes has a very large collection of costumes and accessories for plus sizes broken down into these categories:

The size ranges for the costumes run from 1X-4X and the prices vary in such a way that can easily accommodate any budget. With every outfit there are listings for other costumes as well as suggestions for accessory items to complete the costume.

Pros:

There is a large selection of styles and sizes. In addition they carry party supplies, accessories, makeup, hats wigs and even costumes for your pet. The selection includes costumes for year round occasions
Cons:

The there is not a link to the plus size section on the home page. I had to click on adult costumes then scroll down to almost the bottom of the page to find the plus size listing.
