As you can see on Full Figure Plus the last few weeks I have been doing a lot of writing on plus size modeling. Things are heating up in this area as it happens I will for sure be there to write about it.

I love Mo’Nique’s F.A.T. Chance! I think it gives plus size women hope. Mo’Nique is a beautiful, confident, and classy woman. Being a full figured woman in a skinny world is hard and finding clothing without looking like and oldmaid is harder. I too have a dream of becoming a full figure fashion designer/model and would love to take part in Mo’Niques F.A.T. Chance.

HELLO,
MY NAME IS MY NAME IS MANARA. IT MEANS LIGHT HOUSE IN HEBREW.(SIDE NOTE). I AM A 27 YEAR OLD WOMAN LIVING IN CALIFORNIA. I HAVE HAD WEIGHT PROBLEMS MY WHOLE LIFE. I LIVED IN THE SHADOWS OF MY BEAUTIFUL SISTERS MY WHOLE LIFE. I HAVE DONE ANY AND EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN TO LOSE WEIGHT. I EVEN HAD GASTRIC BYPASS SURGERY THAT WENT REALLY BAD. I ENDED UP IN THE HOSPITAL FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS. I RISKED MY LIFE AND ALMOST DIED TRYING TO BE SOMETHING I THOUGHT EVERYONE INCLUDING ME WANTED ME TO BE. ONE DAY AFTER MY LAST SURGERY 6 MONTHS AGO, I LOOKED IN THE MIRROR AND REALIZED THAT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME IS EVERYTHING I AM AND IS GOING TO BE. AND FINALLY I WAS OK WITH ME. INSIDE AND OUT. I WANT TO BE A PLUS SIZE MODEL NOT FOR THE CONVENTIONAL REASONS. BUT FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS LIKE ME THAT ARE UNABLE TO LOOK INTO THE MIRROR AND BE HAPPY WITH WHAT THEY SEE. I PRAY THAT I MIGHT HELP SOMEONE THAT IS IN THE SAME PLACE IS AND HELP THEM TO LOVE AND APPRECIATE THEM SELF INSIDE AND MORE IMPORTANTLY OUT. I HOPE ALL OF MY STRUGGLE AND PAIN AND STOP SOMEONE FROM MAKING THE STUPID MISTAKES I DID. I ALSO WANT TO DO IT FOR MY SELF. I KNOW I STILL HAVE SELF ISSUES AND I THINK THIS MY BE THE ONE THING THAT WILL FINALLY PUSH ME OVER THE LAST LITTLE HILL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND CONSIDERATION.
