Plus Size Spokesmodel Teams With Plus Size Blog

Lately I have been wondering how to take this blog and its readers to the next level.  With the recent team up between myself and plus size modeling insider Olga Gonzalez-Ramos, I know that a new chapter is about to be written for FFP.  In a little over thirty days Full Figure Plus a blog that started as an idea to help plus size women and big and tall men will turn four years old.  In that time I have written hundreds of posts with the goal of furthering plus size and big and tall fashion awareness on the Internet. Now its time to turn up the heat on the modeling industry.

You have already received a preview of the newest author and Full Figure Plus spokes model Olga Gonzalez-Ramos.  Today marks her formal introduction as well as a sneak peek of a few of the projects that we have in mind for the future.  I must say that I was quite surprised when Olga approached me about working together.  I have been writing about plus size modeling for quite some time but I knew that without having inside experience I would not be able to give the readers everything that they deserved.  In her role as spokes model she will of course write on this blog but she will also represent FFP offline to bring more awareness and let me tell you I am excited thinking of the possibilities.

In an era that blogs do not last longer that six months Olga will be part of a push to keep size acceptance and modeling at the forefront of the blog and Internet community.  Additionally, she will be able to bring a new perspective to plus size modeling that is sure to help ladies and some men break into the growing industry of plus size modeling.

Olga came out of her shell and wants the world to comprehend that beauty comes in all sizes from skinny girls to fat girls.  Size acceptance is not on the ‘Must-Do’ list of society but with her vision and marketing skills she made a market for herself, that just didn’t exist.  She is the biggest Hispanic plus size model that gets ‘PRINT’ work, that is used for fashion.

I am happy that we will be working together to help this blog grow in addition to continue to shine the light on the plus size modeling industry and Olga’s modeling career.  Some ideas for the future include expanding the Beauty of the Week showcase as well as having a regular modeling column with tips and advice from reader submissions.  Get the word out to everyone that you know that Full Figure Plus has a new spokes model that will represent the plus size community and the modeling industry to the fullest.  As usual stay tuned to Full Figure Plus for all updates.
