Rosalee Womensize Apparel appears at Pure Panache Fashion show

Washable Embroider Suede SuitI had every intention of being at the 2006 Pure Panache fashion show that was recently held in Nashville but was unable to attend. Thanks to one of the participants Rosalee of Rosalee Womensize Apparel I was able to get a feel for the show through her eyes. From her word it sounds like the even was a absolute success. It has me excited about going to plus size events and taking my blog on the road. But enough about me keep reading about the fashion show and be sure to check out Rosalee’s website for the clothes that she designed for the show!

The Pure Panache 2006 fashion show is history now, it was a lot of work and stress, but when the Rosalee Signature models came down the runway it was thrilling, and worth all that we had to go thru.

I have been in fashion shows before with my fashions but they were smaller shows. Pure Panache- which is held once a year-is a veryclassy and sophticated event. Trenay Bynum-founder and Director of Figures of Nashville- bought the best makeup and hair stylist, so that every Curvy Diva that blazed the runway looked her best. Her makeup and hair people worked with some of my models and I couldnot believe how gorgeous and beautiful they looked.

The models were taught how to walk, stand and pose weeks before the event by Kim Martin-Runway coach. Kim is very special to all of us, because she helped the models to know that whatever their size and shape they could carry themselves like swans. Kim is just as proficient as Harvey Washington Star on Monique’s F.A.T. Chance.

Gwen Devoe of Devoe’s Signature Events was the show commentator, and if you have ever been to an event where she was the speaker, it was a treat. Gwen is very professional, she has vision , and she is working to help all Plus and Large size women believe in themselves, and always look their best. Thin society has told us we are not attractive, therefore we dress the part when we are in public and in private. The time has come for us Curvy Girls to break the cycle, we need to believe in ourselves and look and carry ourselves like Queens, because we are special.

Visit my website RosaleeWomensizeApparel.com and see some of the new fashions I designed for the show. If I am blessed to live another year and be in the show, I hope to do 3 times the styles I entered for this year show. The F.O.N.I (Figures of Nashville Inc) models are so professional. Erica and Ms Emma modeled some of my clothes and they did a great job. When the audience was just sitting there and not responding, models like Stephanie Majors would cox them for a response, and let me tell you-THAT GIRL, can blaze a runway.

If you ever get a chance to go to a Model bootcamp event hosted by Devoe Signature events, please go, even if you donot become a runway model, it will help you to bring out that special something something, that has been hiding in your inner self. Also keep visiting my webstore, to view clothing designed and made for you-Curvy Plus and Large Size Divas.

If you are not ready to go to a plus size fashion show or get into plus size modeling after reading this then I don’t know what will get you excited. It’s great to see so many plus size groups coming together for a common cause. Kudos goes out to all of the ladies involved in the event. Keep up the good work!
