Safe for another season!

Last week, I made my debut on this fabulous site, my first bite at the cherry… Animal Print and how to own it when you wear it.

For those of you who thought I was completely out of my tree by stating Animal print never really went out of fashion… News hot off the press!!!!!

Animal Prints Are the New Black

No this is not me trying to convince you to get a little lively with some leopard, this is straight from the mouth of a very influential source, the fashion directors at Neiman Marcus.

In reports release today, according to the Fall 08 predictions (summer hasn’t started yet and they are already talking fall) if one is looking for a neutral alternative to black, brown or beige, think animal print!!!!

They also revealed that leopard print, is an ongoing hit with Neiman Marcus customers, and as I mentioned last week, can be a great way to add a little chic and fabulous to your wardrobe!

A few more teeny sneak peaks you can expect to see for Fall 08 are:

• Booties -stiletto, peep toe, it’s feminine luxe, platforms are still strong and patent is the new leather!
• Art Deco Circa 1930’s - think lots of lace, fine feminine touches, brooches, over sized rings will still be big, larger, opulent costume jewelery, pretty dresses, delicate bags and clutches, a big hit for the fans of “uber girly” chic.
• Berry Beautiful - think mulberries, blackberries, raspberries, rich and deep blue and purple tones will carry along side the leopard and Art Deco trends, you will find it in clothing, hosiery and cosmetics.
