I can’t believe that he thinks I will wear that! What was he thinking when he bought that? These and many more questions come to ladies mind and in conversations with each other when the subject of the person that they love or care for steps out and decides that he wants to purchase her a few things for her to wear. How are we going to deal with a problem as massive as this? As an admirer of Plus-ladies and I just so happen to be a man I have a few ideas that may help ladies understand where we are coming from.
What comes to our minds when we decide to go shopping for our lady friends? Well not really much. There are a few basic things that we go by in order to go shopping for anything, and though we love you ladies our methods still won’t change. First off our brains don’t work on the “cuteness factor” as a matter of fact the only thing in our lives that are considered cute are our kids or other people’s kids. So don’t expect us to relate to you when you say that something is cute in regards to clothes. What the male mind works on when buying clothes, especially for the Plus lady in his life is what HE thinks looks good on you. Having a preference for a large woman is no different from a man that likes a small woman. We have our idea of what we think will look good on you and those are the things that we will be looking for. Now granted it may be something out of your comfort zone, but you must remember that you are not the one doing the shopping the man is. Here are a few that stores that I like to go to and it’s a safe bet you can find something nice for your lady:

Ladies and gents this is by no means all the places that you can buy from just some of the more common ones that will help you get a start on your journey to purchase a few things for your special lady. Regardless as to what we men buy you or whether you like it or not know that we buy things for you because in our eyes you ladies are the most beautiful, sexy sensual beings on the face of the planet and we just want you to have a few things to wear to bring out the sexiness in you.
We also know that as a Plus-size lady you are not very comfortable divulging your size and that you would just prefer to go with us when we shop and we just pay. Well the problem with this is that it takes away the surprise element that we guys like to do on occasion to make sure that we are not going to have to forward our mail to the doghouse for the winter. If you don’t tell us your sizes we can still get them by randomly grabbing something in your closet writing down the size and heading to the mall. So it would be best when we ask your sizes just write them down in different categories and hand it over to us. Telling us won’t help either because once we get in the store we will be too busy smiling as we imagine what you are going to look like in what we buy you so just write it down. Besides we want to go in spend an hour tops picking out something for you and get back to you. Next we don’t shop sales. Guys go into the store and get whatever and don’t necessarily worry that it’s the cheapest price for the item. Also we don’t like to tell how much we spent on you so please don’t ask. So ladies as you can see though there may be a few things going on with us men in regard to shopping for you it’s not really that hard to figure.
Next we are going to get into shoes and accessories. Guys this is the only area that it’s best to listen to your lady when she tells you what she likes. Getting her a pair of shoes that are not her brand or something to go with an outfit that she already has but it matches absolutely nothing she has can cause you major grief. So just listen to her when she talks about that favorite perfume, shoe, bracelet, etc. and you can make your day go better by just buying THAT thing for her when its time. Going out on your on in this area is something that I only recommend for men that have been with a particular lady for a year or more. In that amount of time you will be able to see the things that she buys for herself and have a small idea of things that if you buy that she may like. Even this can backfire on you as well so be careful. She already has a special shelf in her bedroom or in the bathroom for products that where cute and smelled good on someone else but as soon as she got them home they just didn’t work for her. So sticking to the main roads in this area can for sure keep you out of hot water.
My good gentlemen here are a few no-no level things to consider when buying for your large lovely lady. Cross these stores off your list even if she is a jeans and t-shirt kind of woman the point of you shopping is to get her something nice to wear not something that she can go out and get in he sleep. Get K-mart, Wal-mart, Target, and other discount chains out of your head when you decide to shop for your large lovely. They might pass the “cuteness factor” with her but they will not pass the durability test. I learned this the hard way plus getting a few looks over the years from different ladies that I dated. Go to the established big name stores for plus-size ladies. There is nothing wrong with wanting to save money when shopping, but as we all know that not all stores are sensitive to the Plus-size body frame so its best to go to shops that know large bodies instead of going to a store that there idea of larger sizes is just cutting out more cloth. Bonus tip: If you do go to a discount chain to buy clothes for her be prepared to pay more for your item than you would for an item for a smaller person. For some reason the buyers in stores like this have not realized that a large percentage of there customers are size 16 and above so they see carrying sizes above 1X as something that they should charge more for.
