Summertime Blogging Blues

In the years that I have been blogging about all things plus size I have covered more topics than I remember. One thing that happens every summer is that I get to the point that typing becomes a chore.

Last summer I was lucky enough to have a guest blogger Corinna to help me out while I took a break to concentrate on classwork. This summer I have not considered taking time off though as I compose this post I am seriously thinking of it. As my blog has grown so has the amount of attention that the different aspects of keeping things running smoothly require.

I love blogging and appreciate each and every reader that has decided to subscribe to a newsfeed, email, comment, or advertise. Without your support I would have hung up my keyboard years ago. I think that every blog that survives longer than six months has to go through what I am experiencing. While letting things go for a few weeks is tempting I would not feel right not being able to bring readers new and interesting items from the world that is plus size.

For those of you that are bloggers or manage websites what do you do during this time of year that everything slows down because people are spending more time at the park and pool than in front of their computer. I would love to hear some of your stories.
