Swimwear 2007: Are you Celebrating your Hips and Curves

For years I have been a fan of the comic strip Cathy.  She is paranoid to fault but a reflection of what everyday people are thinking.  Reading today’s strip about the 2007 swimwear season where the ladies are embracing there hips and curves and Cathy simply states, “I feel fat.”

I am sure that there are many ladies and even some of us men that don’t feel hot, are not embracing our big bellies and just feel fat.  I know that I have my days that I look down at my rotund belly and say no way I am going out of the house without a shirt on.

Other days I have no problem going sans shirt and even wonder why we have to where clothes or swimsuits at all.
