Men, if you were to go shopping right now for a bra and panty set for your curvy diva would you know how to get the right size and style?  In the first part of this guide we covered getting sexy lingerie now lets talk about everyday wear.

Ladies can you leave the room for a few minutes while I talk to your significant other to give him some pointers on purchasing you a bra?

Buying a bra is really simple, but I have to do some housecleaning before we start shopping.  When shopping for your special lady here are the things that you SHOULD NOT consider when shopping:

• She is NOT the same size as your favorite porn star – sorry had to get that out there
• Telling the clerk that you think she may be the same size as your girl will not work
• Asking her brother, father, cousin, etc. what size she is

I think you get the point.  When it comes to bra shopping for the fuller figure terms you should get familiar with are underwire, shelf, balconette, plunge, band size, straps, cup size, cami, push-up, etc.  If your girl is looking over your shoulder right now I know there are a ton of other terms but for now we are keeping things simple so you can actually buy something.

The majority of the support for a bra comes from the band.  Make sure when you help your girl measure that she gets this number right to ensure she is wearing the right bra!

Band Size

For example, my wife is a 42H.  In guy talk this means she is truly blessed.  With that in mind lets get the tape measure out and look at this from the workshop perspective.  The 42 denotes the circumference around the back to the fullest part of the breast.  The measurement goes around the ribcage to just below the breasts. Now add 5 to this number. You now have the band size. If the band size is an odd number, round up to the next even number since bra bands only come in even numbers. Think of the band size fellas being like the load bearing beam of a house, if it is off the entire structure can come falling down!

Most of us men turn our brain off at this point. Remember the porn star tip.  But for ladies this can be a troublesome area and the area that causes most ladies to walk around with the wrong size.  The second measurement should be taken around the fullest part of the bosom while she has her favorite bra on. This measurement is the cup size. Next subtract the band size from your cup size to calculate the right cup size.

Bra Style

Honestly you will not be of much help on this one fellas and you will just have to ask what style of bra she prefers.  If your goal is to heat things up nothing will shut things down quicker than her wearing an uncomfortable bra.

I would suggest that you not try a special occasion for the first time to buy your favorite girl a bra.  Try just going bra shopping with her and you be the money source and let her buy what she NEEDS not what she wants then use that information to make purchases on your own.
