Today is the day that I change the picture featured in the sidebar for the plus size beauty of the week. Today is also the day that I say thanks to all of the ladies that have submitted photos in order to have their time in the spotlight.
To new readers my first thoughts on this came back during the Spring when I decided that it would be a good idea to feature many of the readers of Full Figure Plus in a video set to music. You can check out the video on YouTube. It was my way of recognizing the plus size beauties from around the world.
After the video to keep the momentum going I started the beauty of the week which features one lady for 7 days. Between the original photos that were submitted to me and the additional submissions I have enough to take me well into 2009 without having to repeat anything. For all the support once again I say thank you to all of the ladies that have submitted there photos.
In light of problems like Janice Dickinson and Meme Roth speaking out negatively about plus sizes I and other bloggers like me are featuring larger individuals to show that beauty does not have a size number attached to it.
How can I get involved? The process is simple send a photo of yourself to beautyoftheweek@fullfigureplus.com. No nude photos allowed. Professional picutres are ok as long as you have permission to use them.

It’s wonderful to see so many plus size beauties that grace this site. A new face each week. Each and every lady chosen is unique and beautiful and most of all, I like what they represent. They represent me and every woman, young or old that is Full Figured and loving it…….
