The Cinema Retro Collection From IGIGI Brings Vintage To Plus Sizes

IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel, has transitioned into Spring with Cinema Retro; a collection rich in shapes and colors reminiscent of curvy screen beauties Sofia Loren, Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot. Inspired by the luscious and form-fitting styles of 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, designer Yuliya Raquel created sensual silhouettes with a modern twist in retro prints, bright splashes of colors, and vivid hues. The Cinema Retro includes fully lined dresses, separates, and bridal gowns with signature techniques to flatter the full-figured body.

I really love retro looks. When it comes to plus size curves nothing looks better than the styles that remind me of my youth and how strong and in your face the feminine form was at one time. My hat is always off to Yuliya. Not only is she and incredibly talented designer, she wants to make any plus size woman walking the planet look good.

Cinema Retro is about glamour, sexiness, fierceness, sensuality and not being afraid to express yourself as a confident chic woman. The collection exhibits the classic IGIGI signature style of modern femininity with a vintage vibe.”  said Yuliya Raquel.

Some of Cinema Retro highlights are Enrica Wrap Dress, Paola Dress in Onyx, and Sophie Colorblock Dress. Customers can consult ShapeStylist feature to determine their shape and pick the pieces from the collection that will compliment their shape the best. Campaign features plus-size model Jessica B. from Natural Models and is shot in studio by Mark de Paola.  Prices range from $60-$600.

My wife is a huge fan of IGIGI. No matter what she always refers back to IGIGI as quality construction and fit not matter what. If the Cinema Retro collection is anything like the collections of the past then you will love it. By the way if you want something from IGIGI it is best to get it early because it will sell out before you can blink.
