Tina Knowles and Norma Kamli Add Plus-Size Clothing at Wal-Mart

Most of the news lately has been about Tina Knowles “Miss Tina” collection being sold at Wal-Mart.  With the star power behind the launch many people may have missed that Norma Kamli is also available from the retail giant.  Though neither collection is available in the two Wal-Mart stores I visited in the last week they are available via the Wal-Mart website.

Not long ago when I wrote “Norma Kamali Adds to Plus-Size Fashions Available From Wal-Mart” the Fall collection had not come out yet nor had the Miss Tina line hit the stores.  Now with both of them available it makes me think is Wal-Mart making a genuine effort to supply affordable clothing to plus size women around the country?  Both collections have a nice mix of casual clothing with a price under $20.  Even if these are not your go to pieces they will round out your closet nicely.

My only complaint with both collections is something that is becoming a growing trend.  The both have expanded there collections to include plus-sizes but they have very few plus models.  I would have no idea how it looked at all on a lady with true hips and curves had it not been for the outfit of the day post done by Bella Styles.  Note: Bella you look fantastic!  Back to the collections.  Wal-Mart has honestly been hit and miss with there journey into plus over the years.  Both of these collections get high marks for effort and price, but being only available online or in limited stores is a major mark against.
