Valentine’s Day is just a few weeks away. Fellas if you haven’t started thinking about this special day you still have time. This list is made up of things that I have purchased or done for my wife over the years so in a way it is my personal list as well as some of the popular things that in my opinion have gotten stale.
- A plaque engraved with a quote that holds deep meaning to you both. Ours is “You add happiness to my joy.”
- Full spa day for couples
- Picnic in the park with food you prepared yourself
- Drive through the countryside
- Multiple cards
- Catered dinner in your home
- Lingerie
- Flowers
- Candy
- Cards
I bet you are wondering why I listed the traditional Valentine’s Day items at the bottom of the list. After 15 years of togetherness I have found out that these things mean very little on Valentine’s Day yet work wonders on other days that they are not expected. Regardless as to how you decide to spend the day make it special for the one you love and it will be special for you as well.
