A few months ago news was everywhere about Tyra Banks being fat. she responded on her talk show with a teary eyed, “Kiss my Fat Ass!” Now I never thought she was fat in the first place, so while funny I was not jumping on the Tyra band wagon.
She has since dropped 30 pounds and people are crying foul. I mean come on people at 161 pounds Tyra was no where near plus size to begin with, so if she drops some weight and goes back to her super model look then so be it no big deal.
Jennifer Hudson has dropped the weight she gained for her Oscar winning performance in Dreamgirls. Last time I checked she was not on the cover of any magazine. Trya probably brought it on herself by telling everyone to kiss her ass then dropping the weight. Who really know and do we really care?
Now if Mo’Nique was to drop 60 pounds during the Mo’Nique’s F.A.T. Chance that would be news. Considering how she has championed the fat cause. What that means to me and most intelligent people is that in order for there to be a problem you have to fat to begin with.
Trya was fat for the modeling industry but not fat as far as the rest of use are concerned. Though I commend her on the “Thick and Sexy” competition that she had on her talk s, that is a far cry from her being anywhere near plus size.
Nice try paparazzi, we in the plus size community are not stupid. Tyra was never and never will be plus size. Call us back when she gains 60 pounds and tells everybody to kiss her fat ass and we may actually pay more attention to it.

oooh tyra you are just fabulous.i sometimes wish i could come for your show but i live in africa and i cant afford an air ticket to come see you.i would really love it if you would one day invite me and my friends to come.it would be nice for many young girls here in africa to know that its possible to meet a great black american woman who serves as a great role model to us.thank you for being such an inspiration.

I think tyra is theeeeeeeeee bomb! and who cares about all the stupid magazine coments, she is funny down to earth and real. i wish i could get a chance to meet her in person man we need to go out and have some fun…you are a great role modle for young and older women we all sit and dream and sometimes u will get there one day! hope to meet u soon i loved wahu’s comment money is a problem for me too . i want to go too africa one day too!!!
