When will the US study plus sizes more?

In an article that I just read on Anaova.com a German study makes the claim that Bigger men tend to be more faithful also saying:

They found 23% of men in the “normal” weight category admitted to being interested in a bit on the side, while just 11% in the “fat” category said they would cheat on their wives or girlfriends.

While reading this article one thing came to my mind. Why are the majority of the studies that I read about online about plus size men and women conducted overseas? Seems that considering that the US is one of the richest nations on the planet then doing a few studies in this area is something that needs to be addressed more.

I wrote that original part a year ago and it still seem to this very day when it comes to widespread studies dealing with plus size men and women other countries are outpacing the United States in this area. The US has the largest section of people of size in the world yet we have the fewest amount of studies that are released to the public regarding the plus size community. I can only hope that with blogs like mine out there that there will be more research not only done but brought to the attention of the public.
